From the Imsfrane region, the Ahansal offers an itinerary of approximately 50 kilometres towards Bin El Ouidane. Two days on the river are linked by a night in tents. These are the main moments of the journey.

Day 1 · Launching at Amougr

After the transfer come equipment fitting and the briefing. The guide explains seating, paddle movements and commands. A short practice helps everyone find a shared rhythm before the descent. Belongings for the night remain protected from the water according to the agreed luggage arrangements.

Livelier sections alternate with quieter water, leaving time to notice the cliffs and banks. A lunch stop at Ighrman is planned according to progress: an opportunity to eat, rest and recover before continuing along the river.

The evening stop: a riverside bivouac

When a visit is possible, a stop at Aït Hssine offers a chance to discover a traditional oil mill. Then comes camp: leaving the water, changing into dry clothes and resting. The team chooses the tent site according to the bank and prevailing conditions.

Dinner together and a night in tents

The evening meal brings everyone together beside the tents. The team explains the next day's arrangements before the group settles down for the night. A warm layer and an accessible light are among the simple essentials that make camping more comfortable.

Day 2 · Continuing towards Bin El Ouidane

After breakfast, camp is packed away and waste leaves with the group. The descent resumes towards the Sidi Youssef area, then continues in the direction of Bin El Ouidane on the lake itinerary. This option includes a boat connection, lunch and the return according to the confirmed arrangements.

The second day continues downstream. Lake levels can change the connection point, so 50 kilometres remains an approximate distance. An alternative programme ends at Sidi Youssef Bridge, with a return by road.

Before setting off

Confirm the included transfers, meals, tents and sleeping equipment, as well as what you need to bring. Mention allergies or individual requirements beforehand. For a tailored programme and price, send your dates, group size and preferred finish: Sidi Youssef or the continuation towards Bin El Ouidane.
